Details

Surprise is a subject of research in diverse fields: psychology, cognitive science, musicology, English literature, linguistics and philosophy. However, thus far, knowledge accumulated within one discipline has rarely traveled across disciplines. Our interdisciplinary workshop on surprise aims to bring together researchers from the different disciplines to share with each other valuable insights about surprise and create a new interdisciplinary conversation.

Pre-recorded presentations will be available online from May 27th. Discussion will assume familiarity with the presentations.

For details and access, contact: [email protected] or [email protected]

Discussions will be held on Zoom.
