Details

After its successful inception in 2019, GEM is back for a second edition in 2020. Its aims remain the same: to bring together leading scholars and young researchers and provide a forum to discuss unpublished projects.

This years keynote speakers will be Maria Lasonen-Aarnio and Michael Titelbaum. The programm will feature 8 further speakers who will be selected via this CFP.

We will be able to provide small travel bursaries to selected speakers, but the details will vary with demand. Preference will be given to young researchers.

Call for Papers

We invite submission of high quality work in any area of analytic epistemology, including formal, social, and feminist epistemology. Papers engaging with the work of the keynote speakers will be given special consideration.

Papers should be suitable for 35-40 minute presentations and should not exceed 5000 words, excluding footnotes and bibliography. Papers should be prepared for blind review, and submitted as PDFs with a separate cover sheet that includes: the author’s name, institutional affiliation, contact information, paper title, word count and an abstract of no more than 200 words.

Deadline for submissions: March 6th 2020

Notification of acceptance by April 1st 2020.
