Details

‘Time and the Mind’ is an interdisciplinary conference bringing together researchers in philosophy and psychology to explore how their different perspectives can yield new insights into our experience of time.

Few phenomena so fundamental to our experience of the world are as mysterious as time. The topic is of great public interest – an interest that has been piqued in recent years by the popularisation of physics-related broadcasting and filmmaking. There are, however, few time-related public engagement activities from the disciplines of philosophy or psychology. We therefore invite everyone interested in time and our experience of it to attend. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the event, talks will naturally be accessible to non-specialists – ensuring anyone can engage irrespective of academic background.
