Details

The proclamation of World Logic Day by the UNESCO, in partnership with the CIPSH, is intended to draw attention of inter-disciplinary scientific communities and the general public to the intellectual history, conceptual meaning and practical implications of logic.

To this end, the Peruvian Society of Epistemology and Logic (SPEL) calls the academic community to participate in its First World Logic Day event, to be celebrated on January 13-15, 2021.

In this edition, we are especially interested in contributions related to the topics treated in the works of Francisco Miró Quesada Cantuarias, among which are included:

  • Philosophy of Logic and Mathematics
  • Theory of Reason
  • Logic and Metaphysics
  • Non-classical, Heterodox and Paraconsistent Logics
  • Deontic Logic and Logic of Law
  • Pedagogy of Logic and Mathematics
  • History of Latin American Logic
  • Studies of the FMQC’s works on these topics

Selected contributions related to these topics will be invited to participate in a special issue of the South American Journal of Logic dedicated to Francisco Miró Quesada Cantuarias.
