Character and Personality: Current Debates in Philosophy and Psychology

The concepts of character and personality play important roles in moral philosophy, legal theory, and public policy. But there is considerable debate over how these concepts should be understood, how they are related to values, goals, attitudes, beliefs, desires, and automatic cognitive processing.
