The Annual Southwest Graduate Philosophy Conference
Hosted by the Graduate Philosophical Society at Arizona State University
The conference will take place on Friday and Saturday, February 19th and 20th 2021.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, we will be conducting the conference this year through Zoom, which will allow all participants to attend remotely.
We're pleased to have as keynote Dr. Katharine Jenkins (University of Glasgow). The keynote talk will potentially be focused around the topic of Gender and Ontic Injustice.
We welcome papers in all areas of philosophy, although special consideration will be given to papers from the following areas: social philosophy, feminist philosophy, critical philosophy of race, philosophy of sex and sexuality, and social epistemology. Related paper subjects might include: topics in social categories, social ontology, and ontology of gender or race.
Each presenter will be given 30 minutes for their presentation and 15 minutes for Q&A, so please keep in mind a word limit of 3000-3500 words.
Submissions should be prepared for anonymous review. Please include a separate cover page with the following information:
-
Name
-
Institution
