The Graduate Philosophy Organization at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will host the 42nd Annual Graduate Philosophy Conference at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The conference will be entirely on Zoom.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Andrea Sullivan-Clarke, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Windsor.

Sarah Bruckler and Paul Whitfield are the organizers of the conference.

Abstracts on any area of philosophy, particularly those focusing on decolonial, feminist, or applied ethics are welcome.

Papers should be approximately 3000 words in length, preceded by a 250-word abstract. Submissions must be prepared for blind review, and submitted as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file to [email protected]. Submissions are due by March 1, 2021. Acceptances will be sent by March 31, 2021.

Presenters should prepare for a 20 minute presentation followed by a 10 minute commentary. Responses will be 5 minutes followed by 20 minutes of discussion.

A $100 prize will be awarded to the author of the best paper on decolonial, feminist, or applied ethics.
