The graduate students in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are pleased to invite submissions of quality work by current graduate students in any area of philosophy for the 42nd Annual Graduate Philosophy Conference. Papers focusing on decolonial, feminist, or applied ethics are especially welcome.

A $100 prize will be awarded to the author of the best paper on decolonial, feminist, or applied ethics.

Papers should be approximately 3000 words in length, preceded by a 250-word abstract. Submissions must be prepared for blind review, and submitted as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file to [email protected].

  • Acceptances Announced: March 31, 2021

Presenters should prepare for a 20 minute presentation followed by a 10 minute commentary. Responses will be 5 minutes followed by 20 minutes of discussion.
