Details

We will be looking at the concepts of reduction and non-reduction from the perspectives both of philosophy of mind and of meta-ethics. We have speakers who work in mind and speakers who work in meta-ethics. We hope to draw out important parallels as well as crucial differences, and more generally, to generate a dialogue between two similar areas in philosophy whose similarities thus far have remained underexplored.
