Seldom have current affairs raised as many epistemological questions as today. Many of these questions concern the distribution of fake news and disinformation. What is the role of trust in the testimony of others in this connection? Which epistemic consequences arise when media or other institutions use nudging as a means to evoke reasonable beliefs in people? And how do fake news and disinformation affect our epistemic practices? In the colloquium, these and other questions will be discussed.
