The International Conference on Naturalism and Its Challenges (ICNIC) will be held, most likely virtually, by the Iranian Institute of Philosophy (IRIP), Tehran.
This conference is organized to provide an international platform for students, researchers, and academics to share their views on the main themes of the Conference with philosophy experts across the world. All abstract/paper submissions will be peer-reviewed and evaluated on the basis of originality, research depth, accuracy and relevance to the Conference general themes by the scientific committee.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
Extended Abstracts:
Authors are required to prepare an extended abstract of their papers, 700 words (min) to 1200 words (max). All submissions must be made through the Conference Website: http://naturalism.irip.ac.ir. Only abstracts submitted through the electronic system will be considered for reviewing. The submission system requests information about the authors. This information will not be given to the reviewers.
In writing the abstract, please use the standard fonts/formatting (preferably APA 7th edition). It is not required for the authors to submit the full version of their papers. Upon acceptance of the abstracts, authors who are willing to do so can submit their full-length papers.
Submissions (both abstract and paper) should be prepared for double-blind review, i.e., without author names or other identifying material. All abstract/paper submissions will be peer-reviewed and evaluated on the basis of originality, research depth, accuracy and relevance to the main themes of the Conference by the scientific committee.
When an abstract/paper is accepted, at least one of the authors has to register to the Conference and deliver the talk. Failure to do so will lead to rejection of the application to attend the conference.
How to Submit an Abstract:
To submit your abstract, please first register at http://naturalism.irip.ac.ir.
To do so, please go to the “Papers” section and select “Submit Paper”; then choose “Register”. Fill out the form and click “Save”. You will be provided with a unique password to log in.
Having received your password, click “Log in” and enter your (previously chosen) Username and (provided) Password. Once logged in, you will be able to submit your abstract by selecting “Submit New Abstract”. You are required to enter the Full Title, Abstract, and Keywords of your abstract and upload the abstract file. After filling out all the required (*) fields, click “Finish Submission”. A Paper ID will be dedicated to your submission.
You will be able to track the status of your submission by going to the “Paper Status” page.

UPON ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ABSTRACT
Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by January 15th, 2022.
At this point, authors of accepted abstracts will receive instructions on how to prepare and present their papers at the ICNIC Conference.
Authors are required to present their work in a scheduled session. The presentation time is approx. 20 minutes followed by a 10-minute Q & A session.
Depending on the official government announcement on the pandemic, authors will be notified of the format of the presentations; as it currently goes, it is most likely that the presentations will be held virtually. The instructions will be provided in due course.
Upon request, IRIP will issue Certificates of Attendance.
As the proceedings of the Conference will be submitted to the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), the papers that will be published in the proceedings will also be indexed in ISC. (See below)
PROCEEDINGS
By the consult of the scientific committee, the selected full papers presented at the ICNIC Conference will be published, as Post-Conference Proceedings, by IRIP Publishing.
The accepted extended abstracts will appear in the News Letter of the Conference and the Conference Abstract Notebook.
