Details

The graduate students of the Tulane University Philosophy Department are hosting the Annual New Orleans Graduate Philosophy Conference on 11th-12th March 2022.

Our keynote speaker will be Terrance MacMullan of Eastern Washington University (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=n2xYeQ4AAAAJ).

The plan is to host the conference entirely in-person. The committee will evaluate the need for a hybrid or online conference in late January/early February, and they will provide participants ample notice to any changes to the program.

There is no attendance fee. Light refreshments and coffee will be provided. Send all inquiries to [email protected]

--Call For Papers---

We invite graduate students to submit papers in any subfield of philosophy, though special consideration will be given to papers that relate to the work of our keynote and to the issues with which he engages.

Submissions are due by midnight on Monday, December 20th 2021. Notifications of acceptance or declination will be returned by mid-January 2022.

All submissions must be less than 3,500 words and prepared for blind review.

Please include a separate title page containing (i) paper title, (ii) abstract of 150 words, (iii) author’s name, (iv) institutional affiliation, (v) email-address.

Please submit both documents (in .pdf, .docx, or .doc format) to [email protected]

Each speaker will have 45 minutes allotted to them, including Q&A. Technology for slides will be available.
