***Updated 1/13/22 to offer a completly virtual presentation format***

The University of Missouri – St. Louis Philosophers’ Forum invites submissions from current graduate students that explore the topic of intentionality. Papers on intentionality from all philosophical perspectives and approaches are welcome, including: ethics, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, action theory, feminist philosophy, non-western philosophy, etc. Papers that address the intersection of multiple areas are also welcome.

We have updated our format to offer all presenters a virtual option. Presenters will still have the opportunity to present their work and to receive comments and questions in real-time. We expect that regular speakers on the program will attend the majority of the other regular sessions, whether online or in-person.

To apply, please submit:

1) A paper prepared for anonymous review, not exceeding 3500 words in length.

2) A separate cover sheet including name, institutional affiliation, contact information, paper title, word count, and an abstract of no more than 300 words to Daniel Grasso ([email protected]) Deadline has been extended to February 13th, 2022. Acceptance emails will be sent out no later than February 28, 2022 in order to accommodate a deadline extension.

Those interested in attending the conference in a different capacity (as a commentator or as an attendee) should contact Daniel Grasso ([email protected]). If you have any questions or concerns, please see “Event Organizers” page for contact information.
