The Tuebingen Graduate Conferences in Practical Philosophy aim to provide an opportunity for young scholars in practical philosophy and related fields to gain experiences in presenting and discussing their own work with distinguished researchers in the respective field. The Graduate Conferences are organized by a team of graduate and PhD students at the philosophy department of Tuebingen University. This year’s Conference is dedicated to the question “Is punishment immoral? – philosophical perspectives on a legal practice” and centers on the topic of justification of legal punishment from philosophical and legal perspectives. Papers will be presented and discussed together with our Keynote-Speakers

The conference will take place in Tuebingen on 23th May and 24th May 2013.
The conference language is English.
