The Department of Philosophy (Faculty of Social Sciences) of the University of Salzburg will host a workshop on imagistic cognition, May 11-13, 2023. The workshop will feature speakers from philosophy, psychology and neuroscience, whose work has relevance to the nature of problem-solving by means of mental imagery.
There will be no contributed papers, but all events will be free and open to the public, and visitors will be welcome to attend. All talks will be held in person. This will not be an on-line or hybrid event. If you would like to attend the workshop, please send an email to Prof. Christopher Gauker ([email protected]).
The workshop is funded by a grant from the FWF Austrian Science Fund for Project I 3517-G24, The Puzzle of Imagistic Cognition (Christopher Gauker, PI), which is part of a joint project together with the Belgian FWO (Bence Nanay, PI).
