Abstract: This talk describes the goals of and principles of YourView, a new virtual forum with the quixotic ambition of fixing a number of obvious problems of democracy.   The talk will ramble over such topics such as the existence and nature of a collective mind; the challenge of introspection for said collective mind; epistemic virtues and how the credibility of a forum’s participants can be computed by operationalizing epistemic virtues.   There will be a live demo of YourView.
