Topics and areas:

The international academic community is invited to participate in the next issue of the Tesis journal, with an article that will be part of a philosophy dossier. The journal Tesis belongs to the Postgraduate Unit of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, from Peru.

This dossier aims to establish a dialogue on the relationships between language, truth and logic, based on the articulation of recent research and the discussion of these relationships from contemporary problems. In this way, this dossier will allow us to know and identify areas of current philosophical interest, which will be exposed in a popular tone, but with a technical language.

The areas and topics of this call include, but are not limited to:

  - Epistemology

  - Philosophy of logic and mathematics
  - Epistemology of logic
  - Philosophy of language
  - Semantics and philosophy
  - Theories of truth
  - Theories of meaning
  - Philosophy of science
  - History of science
  - History of Latin American logic

Languages:

English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, and Italian.


Article characteristics:

Short article (approximately 10 to 15 pages, or up to 20 pages), whose content is unpublished and original. Submit essays in Microsoft Word. Text is single spaced, 12 point font size. Citations and bibliographic references must conform to the APA style (7th edition). Articles must include title, abstract (maximum 200 words), and keywords in the language of the article and in English. Authors must indicate their ORCID number.

Potential authors:

In this dossier we want to know a perspective of the external academic community, therefore, we are interested in receiving contributions from researchers, professors, graduate students affiliated to an institution from outside of Peru.
