Details

The Metaphysics and Introspection workshop explores whether phenomenological reflection on experiences can be a reliable guide to the nature of consciousness or the nature of reality. Related questions we aim to discuss include:

(i) Can introspection be a reliable guide to fundamental ontology?

(ii) Do we have special epistemic access to the natures of our experiences?

(iii) Can we know the essential properties of an experience, and if so, what are they?

(iv) Can experience tell us what selfhood is?

Schedule and registration details are on the event's website.
