We are pleased to announce the upcoming Philosophy and Emotion Conference at Nottingham, to be held on the 17th of April 2026.

This event seeks to bring together philosophers and scholars who are interested in exploring the significance of emotion, both within philosophical enquiry and across a range of other disciplines. 

Topics 

Our speakers will present their work on a range of topics which may include but not limited to:

  • philosophical theories of emotion  

  • emotion and ethics   

  • emotion and epistemology  

  • roles for emotion in social and political theories 

  • emotion in psychology and mental health research.
